Thank you for telling me that there was nothing I could have done to break our friendship, and that you never wanted me to promise that if I ever wanted to hurt myself again to call you. Anytime, day or night. But most of all I want to thank you for demonstrating that you really cared for me. You were the first person to demonstrate what I would have lost if I had succeeded in killing myself. I will always be grateful to you for that.
